I’ve been absent a great deal, as you do when you fall into a new world. You learn a new way of sharing your life and adapt to new patterns.
It’s the Iranian New Year tomorrow and some of these photos were taken on New Years Eve here in the Uk. Where new starts made themselves known and continue to do so.
In the sparse few days I spent away from Kaveh when we first met in December I spent Christmas and New Year in Norfolk and Suffolk in fog and farm-lands missing him. And wondering what this new found intimacy means.
I’ve been spending my time between London and my students in Norwich. Having time to do the occasional shoot and start new days.
Once things settle down I should be back in my darkroom carrying on with the next part of Gnosis which I have just photographed and a new Ovate shoot is on its way too.
